Née à Cochrane le 19 juin 1924, Gabrielle, Gaby pour plusieurs, est décédée le 1er août, 2018 à 94 ans. Chère maman de Roland (Sharon), Jacqueline (Jean Haché), Madeleine, et Denise (Adrien Duey), belle-mère de Mary Ann et sœur de Gisèle Soucy. Oh que Gaby aimait les petits ! Une chanson préférée de Gaby Souvenir d’un vieillard, la décrit bien. Ses 14 petits-enfants et 32 arrière-petits-enfants peuvent en témoigner ! Gabrielle fut prédécédée de ses parents, Hectorine Lamarche et Napoléon Villeneuve, ses 3 époux, Roger Beaulne, Frank Tripp, et Earl Weston, ainsi que de ses fils Jean-Pierre (2012), Guy (1969), Michel et André (1954), et ses huit frères et sœurs. Un merci très sincère et chaleureux aux Préposés aux bénéficiaires qui lui ont apporté soins, attentions, et douceurs durant les 8 années de son séjour au Retirement Residence Alta Vista. La famille accueillera parents et ami(e)s le dimanche 5 août 2018 de 13 h à 14 h à la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180 ch. Montréal, Ottawa (Vanier). À 14h, il y aura une célébration de la Parole à la chapelle de la maison funéraire. Si vous le désirez, Gabrielle apprécierait des dons à La Société canadienne du diabète.
Born on June 19, 1924 in Cochrane, Ontario, Gabrielle, known as Gaby to many, passed away on August 1, 2018 at the ripe age of 94 ans. Dear mother to Roland (Sharon), Jacqueline (Jean Haché), Madeleine, and Denise (Adrien Duey), mother-in-law to Mary Ann and sister to Gisèle Soucy. Oh how Gabrielle loved the little ones! One of her favorite songs to which she could sing all the words was Souvenir d’un vieillard. This song describes her quite well. Her 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grand-children can certainly attest to that! Gabrielle was predeceased by her parents, Hectorine Lamarche and Napoléon Villeneuve, her 3 husbands, Roger Beaulne, Frank Tripp, and Earl Weston, her sons Jean-Pierre (2012), Guy (1969), Michel and André (1954), and her eight brothers and sisters. A special heartfelt thank you goes to the Personal Care Workers who tended to her needs and provided extra special care during the 8 years Gaby spent at Retirement Residence Alta Vista. Friends and relatives are invited to visit at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montréal Rd, Ottawa (Vanier), from 1pm to 2pm. A service will be held at 2pm in the Funeral Home’s chapel. Those wishing to do so may make donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
