It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Burley announce his sudden passing on December 21, 2018 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, at the age of 53 years.
Bill is survived by his devoted family, his son Bill Jr.; his sisters Patti Jensen, Lori Spurrell (Martin Wilson) and Kari Klopp (Michael McKee); his loving father Fred Burley and step-mother Sandra. Bill was born in High River, Alberta on March 24, 1965. Bill grew up in Okotoks where he made many friends with his warm personality and easy manner. In Bill’s youth he was very active and excelled in his love of baseball and hockey. In his later years Bill again excelled as a salesperson for High Country Chev in High River.
Bill was predeceased by his mother Helen Burley in 2007 and his nephew Colton Spurrell in 2016.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
