Francisco Supnet
Francisco Supnet, age 70, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away on Wednesday, December 26th 2018 at Grace Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Josefina Supnet of Winnipeg.
Francisco was born in Natividad, Pangasinan Philippines on October 10, 1948. Grew up in the Philippines and immigrated to Winnipeg in December 1972, where he was proudly from the West End. He was the son of the late Pedro and the late Isabel Supnet. Francisco last worked at Enduron for many years where he had countless friends and peers. Besides his wife, Josefina, Francisco leaves his daughter Charlene Bell-Supnet of Dallas, Texas, his daughter Leslie Supnet and son, Ian Supnet of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by his sister Corazon Matsumoto, brother Jesus Supnet, sister Rosario Jaime, sister Gloria Rosete, brother Joey Supnet, and the late Gil Supnet. Francis also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews and their children and close friends.
Francisco was an incredibly kind and humble husband, father and friend with an infectious laugh who was proud of his work and loved his home and garden. He was passionate about chess, sports, and also loved to play bingo. One of his greatest joys was simply spending time with his family and friends enjoying great food and telling stories from his childhood.
A viewing will begin on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (New Building NW location), 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg Manitoba. . Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family will be there until 11:30 p.m. to greet relatives and friends. Interment will be held on Friday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
