1927-2018
Frances Alcock Vince of Riverview passed away on December 30,
2018 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born in
Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Kate (Lacey)
Richardson. Frances spent her life dedicated to her husband and
children and was a member of the united church.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, George T. J.
Vince; daughter Robin C. Gauvin of Riverview; son, George K. Alcock
(Mary CEPEHA-Alcock) of Mississauga, ON; grandchildren, Joseph,
Christopher, Jessica and Katie; nieces and nephews, Shirley Anne
Swannack, Skip (Fred) Alcock, Cheryl Joan, Murray, and Kelly Vince and
their families. She was and will continue to be a shining
light in all our lives. Besides her parents, Frances was predeceased
by her first husband Kenneth John Richard Alcock; sister, Phoebe Joan
Vince, brother, Cyril A. Richardson and her nephew Dave
Swannack.
The
family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview
(869-2007) on Friday, January 4, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A service
will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on
Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00am with
Rev. Steve Berubé officiating. Donations made to
The Canadian Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the
family.
