Obituary for Fran Fraser
Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, London. Fran Fraser (nee Slovacik), of Wyoming, was in her 80th year. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 58 years, Jack. She was a loving mother to Lorrie and Paul Whitely of Reeces Corners and Brian Fraser of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Grandmother to Laura and Chris Byers and Adam and Candice Whitely and a great grandmother to Blythe Byers. Fran was a daughter to the late Tony and Maria Slovacik, a sister to Irene Sullivan and the late Anna Klapak, and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile, her sense of humor, and her vibrant energy. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Philip’s Parish, 415 King St., Petrolia. Private interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wyoming. A reception to follow at the Plympton-Wyoming Fair Building. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army (salvationarmy.ca/donations), London Health Sciences Centre (Oncology Department) (www.lhsf.ca/lhsf/donate), or consider making donation of blood in memory of Fran.
