Foster Cook
1937-2018
Westville
; Foster Foreman Cook age 80 , It is with great sorrow we
announce the peaceful passing of Foster F. Cook on Tuesday
Sept 11th ,2018 at the Aberdeen Hospital New
Glasgow with his children by his side .Foster was born in
the Falls ,Colchester County , a son of the late Lewis and
Elsie (MacDonald) Cook.
In his
younger years he was employed as a truck driver , then was self
employed in the forest industry until his
retirement . Foster spent a number of years residing in Kemptown and
later moved to Westville. He was a proud member of AA’s for
42 years.
Foster
was predeceased by brothers : Raymond(Peggy) and Chester sisters:
Gladys (Rod deceased) Fraser, Myrtle (George deceased) Ryalls , Isabel
(Donald deceased) Lochead , and his beloved fur child
Sassy.
Foster is
survived by his only son Archie (Debbie) , daughters Cindy
(Donnie)Smith ,Connie (Grant) Williams , Wanda Goodall ,Joyce (Teddy)
Mattinson ,several grandchildren and great grandchildren of
which he was very proud.
Brothers
Charles (Rita) , Lawson(Sharon), James (Blanche) ,Kenneth(Karen)
and long time partner Helen Fraser also several
nieces and nephews.
The
family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the
4th and 5th
floors of the Aberdeen Hospital for their
care
As per
Foster’s request , there will be no
visiting or funeral .A private service will be held at a
later date.
Donations
in memory of Foster may be made to the S.P.C.A or to a charity of
one’s choice.
