Peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday May 14, 2018, at the age of 96. Flaviano, beloved husband for 71 years of Clementina (nee Fatica). Dear father of Carmine (Amelia). Dear Nonno of Michael (Mary), Dina (Joseph) Skaff and Mark. Cherished Bisnonno of Alexander, Giorgio, Olivia, Mikhaela and Alessia. Survived by his sisters Alfonsina (late Giovanni) Fatica in Canada and Antonietta (late Michele) Tizzani in Italy. Predeceased by his sister Pasqualina (late Angelo) Simiele of Cleveland. He will also be missed by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at City View Retirement Community and the medical, nursing and support staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Barrhaven Chapel, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Nepean on Thursday May 17, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Anthony’s Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, Pinecrest Cemetery.
