Benoit, Fernande (née Piché) 1925- 2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday January 22, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late George and of the late Clorida (née Michaud) Piché. Wife of the late Lucien Benoit, predeceased in 1993. Loving mother of Marcel (Noëlla) and Maurice (Réjeanne). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Marcel jr, Jean , Martin and by her great grandchildren Louis, Valérie, Denis, Brian and Camille. Also survived by her sisters Georgette Giroux (Marcel) and Huguette Sauvé (Roland) and by her sisters in law Fernande Nicolleti-Neher, Cécile Benoit and Antoinette Benoit. Predeceased by her two brothers Roland (late Rita), Robert (late Rachel) and by her sister Irène Dallaire (late Grégoire). Fernande loved gardening, knitting and reading. The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday January 27 2018 from 9:30 am until 11 am. A funeral service will follow at 11 am. in the funeral home chapel. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses of the West Nipissing General Hospital for the excellent care and attention offered to our mother.
