She will be dearly missed by her son, Michael (Freda) of
Truro, daughter, Annette Radtke (David) of Upper Coverdale,
grandchildren; Dan (Kim), Ashley, Elizabeth and John, great grandson,
Zachary as well as several loved nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, George and her

Evelyn grew up witnessing the Great Depression and World War
II. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Williams Lake and Northwest
Arm where she met George, her husband to be, on the barrens picking
blueberries; an activity she enjoyed into her eighties. She and George
raised their family in the secure and friendly village of Jollimore. A
devoted Roman Catholic, she attended and worked for her church St.

She and George enjoyed many trips within the Maritimes and
