At the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, on Monday, December 10, 2018,
surrounded by his loving family, the passing of Emmerson C. Murphy,
age 76, beloved husband of Marion (Young) Murphy, occurred. Born in
Halifax, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Charlie and Ruby
(Jamison) Murphy. He will be greatly missed by his children Emmie
Murphy and Chad (Afton) Murphy; Brother Arnold (Carol) Murphy; and he
was a cherished Poppy to grandchildren Neala and Xander. Emmerson was
predeceased by his brother Cecil Vuozzo
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Thursday,
December 13, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the
Ferguson Logan Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 14, at 2 pm. In
lieu of flowers donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or the PEI
Humane Society would be
appreciated.
