Emil Alexander Prevost June 19th 2018

November 21, 1952 – June 19, 2018
Emil Alexander Prevost passed away peacefully at his home on June 19, 2018. He was born in Kamloops BC on November 21, 1952. Emil was raised in the Mabel Lake area and resided there until his passing.
Emil is survived by his wife of 42 years, Loretta, daughter Jennifer (Chris) Yewchyn, grandsons, who were his pride and joy, Ashton, Jackson and Sawyer. He is also survived by sister in law Cora, Mary (John) Eichinger, Emily Beattie, Edward (Linda), Eileen(Brian) Dack, Louise Dugdale, Jamie (Brenda) and Kelly (Cliff) Vetter all of Enderby. Emil is predeceased by his parents Emil and Nellie, brother Arnold and brother in law Eric Dugdale. Emil will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all the people he touched.
Emil drove logging truck, farmed and most recently drove the Shihiya school bus. Since his retirement in 2017, he has enjoyed fishing, farming and most importantly spending time with his grandsons.
A celebration of Emil’s life will be held on August 4 at the Splatsin Center.
