COWAN, Ellen – On Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved wife of Dr. David Cowan. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Melynda and Daryl, and Ilana and Anton. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Dr. Jeffrey Baker and Dr. Shelley McLean. Devoted grandmother of Edan, Jory, Carly, Lexi, and Samantha. Loving aunt of Emily and Gaurav, Mitchell and Maya. At Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Stopnitzer Young Mens section of Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park. Shiva 415 Rosemary Road, Toronto. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 416- 489-7111 or to Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, 416-946-6560.
