Eleanor Waters (McCallum)
Peacefully, at Chartwell Lancaster LTC on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Eleanor Waters (nee McCallum) of South Lancaster; age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late William ‘Bill’ Waters (2009). Proud and loving mother of Wendy Waters (Richard Ferris). Eleanor was cherished by her many nieces and nephews and their families here in Canada and in England. Candace Fradette (Ian Highway), Janice Ingram, Clarice Johnson, Phyllis Hedge (Ron), Jim Coroon (Iris), Tony Coroon (Anne), Sue Thompson (Tom), Maureen Davies (Bill), Stafford Waters, Elaine Blood (Dave), June Kenworthy (Ian). The family would like to extend a “Thank you” to the staff at Cornwall Community Hospital, River Garden Retirement Residence and especially Louanne and her staff at Chartwell Lancaster (Chateau Gardens). A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster on date and time to be determined. The Rev. Ian MacMillan, officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to St Andrew’s Presbyterian Building Fund, Chartwell Volunteer Memorial Fund. As a memorial to Eleanor, a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows – memories live.
