DeLamorandiere, Edward ‘Ed’
It is with broken hearts, we announce the passing of Ed on December 26, 2018, surrounded by his family after a battle with emphysema. Predeceased by his first wife Helen Forget. Dearly loved husband for 25 years to Jeannette (nee Blais). Ed will be sadly missed by his step children; Ted Forget (Joan), Alice Thibeault (Orvil), Richard Nadon, Danny Nadon, Lawrence Nadon (Sue) and Mike Nadon (Lilianne). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Dan Forget (Sandy), Karen Wallace (Bill), David Forget (Michelle), Donna Forget (Glenn), several other step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear brother of Virginia Noble (Jim) and Zella Turpin (Tom-deceased). Ed will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Rockbert and Mary DeLamorandiere, his brothers; Lawrence, Jarvis (Joan-surviving), sister; Elaine (Gaston Cadorette-surviving) and his best friend and brother-in-law; James Noble. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be celebrated on January 4, 2019 at the Astorville Community Centre from 1- 4 pm. Ed’s final resting place will be done in the spring in his hometown of Killarney, Ontario. Donations to the Killarney Health Centre or Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by his family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Vaughn, Dr. Dougall, Dr. Khan, Palliative Care; Mrs. Flemming, Care Partners; Danielle, Lindsay and Wendy, Paramed; Nicole and Nicholas, and VON especially Cheryl for their care and compassion given to Ed and our family during this time.
