Edith, known to all by her middle name Marion, was born in Galt, Ontario on January 15, 1934 to Ernie and Betty Brown. Marion attended Queen’s University and became a teacher. Marion is remembered by her children as having exceptional culinary skills, an enjoyment of her extensive garden on Blue Lake Road, and her skill and passion as a bridge player, achieving Gold Masters points. She became an avid knitter while teaching four teenagers to drive. Following golf and the Blue Jays were favorite pastimes later in life. Her pre-dinner scotch is a ritual that will always be remembered along with her devotion to her wild cat K-Gee.
