Dr. Laszlo Roman
At the Maxville Manor on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Dr. Laszlo John Roman of Alexandria; age 86 years. Beloved husband of Madeleine Roman (nee Desjardins). Loving father of Chantal Roman (Ghislain Giroux) of North Lancaster, Pierre Roman (Christine McRae) of Aylmer, Jocelyne Pidgeon (Donald) of Marionville, and Stephen Roman (Tracy Hambleton) of Dalkeith. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Alexa, Bryanna, Mathieu, Gabriel, Megan, Samuel, Olivia, Nicholas, and Allison. Predeceased by one infant sister, and by his parents Laszlo and Ilona Roman (nee Palffy). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 9:30 am -10: 30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. William’s Parish Cemetery, Martintown. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Laszlo a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
