Passed away at the Portage District Hospital on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the age of 82 years.
Predeceased by his parents Emily & James Desjarlais; beloved wife Angeline’ brothers Thomas, Andrew, Laurent, Oliver, Harry and Donald; sisters Victoria Roulette, Nora Houle and Theresa Desmarais; children Yvette Daniels and Harvey Desjarlais; grandchildren Bobby Rae, Samuel Nathan and Baby Jay as well as great grandchild Viola.
Douglas is survived by his wife Donna Desjarlais; sister Mary (Mike) Maruschak; children Garry (Jean) of Wpg, Alinda (Keith) Lush of Edmonton, Edward (Bernadette) of Wpg, Mike (Vhanzge) of Victoria, BC, Darryl of Kikino, AB, Wilma (Laurier) Pilon of Timmons, Ont, Jason (Sandi) of Swan River, MB, Vera (Kelly) Desjarlais of Calgary, AB, Debralee (George) Beaulieu of Sandy Bay, Lydia (Keith) of Portage la Prairie, MB and Donald Desjarlais of Sandy Bay, MB; 38 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
