MACGREGOR, DOUGLAS JAMES
Gently and peacefully passed away on Wednesday March 14th, 2018 at the John M Parrott Centre Napanee, in his 82nd year. Doug was originally from Sharbot Lake, ON. He now resides in Heaven and is reunited with his beloved wife Elaine, (nee Vinkle). Predeceased by his parents, John and Charlotte and his brothers Donald and George. Doug boasted about the Parrott Centre because of his excellent care by the staff while he lived there for the past 8 years. Doug and Elaine were highly engaged and loved their life’s dream of ministry to children. He was well loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Special friends Rev. Dale and Margaret Vinkle, Doug’s sister in laws Linda Guigue (Wilfred) and Marsha Vincent (Perry) and their daughter Rebecca. Resting at Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. Friends will be received on Monday March 19, 2018 from 11 am to 12 noon. Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon. Interment Oconto Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to the Sharbot Lake Pentecostal Church, the Kingston Humane Society or charity of your choice.
