Obituary for Dorothy Knudsen
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. DOROTHY KNUDSEN, (nee Bridekirk), of London, formerly of Petrolia, was in her 90th year. Dorothy was the loving wife of the late Stuart (1996). She will be missed by her daughter Jackie and John McKaig of London, her granddaughters, Jacqueline and Steve Saunders and Joanna and Geoff Parker, and her great grandchildren, Courtney and Brittany Saunders and Alexandra, Emily Jo, and Aiden Parker. She was predeceased by her three sons, George, Stuart, and David, and her granddaughter, Hope McKaig. Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Irene Bridekirk and sister to the late Donalda Mackesy and Kenneth, Angus, and Bill Bridekirk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wyoming Cemetery.
