Loving Grandmother of Michael, Becky, Shawn, Jordan & Shalom. She will also be greatly missed by her Great Grandchildren Brittany & Chad Jones, and by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is also predeceased by her mother Marie (Modde)VanDenBerghe and father Leon VanDenBerghe both of Wallaceburg, her loving brother Albert VanDenBerghe and sister Violetta Meredith. Dorothy was a gifted gardener, loved farming and was an avid knitter & crocheter. She was also a former Lioness. She loved watching her favourite hockey and baseball teams, and always amazed us with her deep knowledge of both. She had a wonderful sense of humour, and a very giving and generous heart. Even though she was blessed with 93 years, her time with us felt all too short, she was one of those rare gems that will be forever missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 12 noon until 1:45 PM.
