Obituary of Doris Summers
Summers, Doris Carolyn of Valleyview Home, St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in her 84th year. Dear mother of Jim Summers(Debby) of Springfield, Judy Walker(John) of Calgary and Tim Summers(Rita) of Edmonton. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Alison, Andrea, Brian, Rob, Hailey, Jason(Nicole) and Michael(Courtney). Also survived by her sister-in-law Marilyn Dunn of Aylmer and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Barbara Drabick and her brother Donald Dunn. Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 2, 1935, daughter of the late Ralph and Irene (Graham) Dunn. Doris owned and operated the Aylmer Nursing Home for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held Monday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
