Hunt, Doreen (née Goring)
Doreen died peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday July 22, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Owen Hunt. Loving mother of Anthony “Tony” (Linda), Jane, David (Carolyn) and Susan. Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Ryan), Andrew (Anestasia), Kevin (Samira), Simon (Sydney) and Molly. Great-grandmother of Rory and Danica. Doreen will be sadly missed by her sisters Sylvia, Joan (Denis) and Irene. Predeceased by her sisters Audrey and Betty and her brother Roy. Survived by her sister-in-law, Evelyn Goring and numerous nieces and nephews. Remembered by many friends in Montreal, Kemptville and England. Special thank you to the staff of the Greystone Manor, Kemptville District Hospital and Dundas Manor for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Reception will be held at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm, followed immediately by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 6:00 pm. Interment at National Field of Honour Cemetery in Montreal. Donations to Kemptville District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
