Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday April 14th, 2018. Donald Curtis age 73 years of Athens. Beloved husband of Shirley Curtis ( nee Running ). Dear father of Steven Curtis ( Christine ) of Phillipsville and Craig Curtis ( Heather ) of MT. Juliet, Tenn. Also survived by two step-children, Brenda Hollister of Toledo and Brian Birtch ( Penny ) of Brockville. Loving grandfather of Joshua Curtis, Lindsey Hollister, Aaron Hollister ( Holly ), Kurtis Birtch ( Jennifer ) and Candise Newcombe ( Tyler ). Special great-grandfather of Charlie, Corby and Caiden. Dear brother of Dorothy Quinn of St. Lawrence Lodge, Margaret Dixon of Brockville and Lillian Davy ( Paul ) of Cardinal. Also survived by a brother-in-law, John Battams of Gananoque and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters and two brothers, Evelyn Senecal ( Richard ), Eileen White, Edward Curtis and Gordon Curtis ( Shirley ).
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Monday April 16th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday April 17th, at 11 a.m. Interment Glen Elbe Cemetery.
