Obituary for Don Lamont
William Donald “Don” Colin Lamont, of Holyrood, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound. He was 76. Beloved husband to Joan and father to Patti (Bill) Tilker of Walkerton, Neil of Riversdale, Mike (Jen) and Donnie (Alisha Strauss) both of Walkerton. He was the proud Grandpa of Tyler, Kasey, Jesse, Zach and Baen. Don will be missed by his siblings Allan (Wendy) of Riversdale and Hellen Brick of St. Clements, and in-laws Gail & Elgin Shular, Sally & Audie Sollars, Ron & Dolores Porter, Ted & Linda Porter, Wendy & Rick Esplen and Milt Rennick.
Don was predeceased by his parents Neil and Isa Lamont, siblings Grace (Jerry) Spicer, Norma (Lorne) Harrison, Jean (Eugene) Harrison, Dorothy (Wally) Forsyth, Isabelle (Gord) Spark, Mary Ann (Gerald) Kemple, and brother-in-law Joe Brick.
The family invites friends and relatives for visitation on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. A funeral service celebrating Don’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cameron Funeral Home. Ann Maycock officiating.
Interment at Durham Road Baptist Cemetery, Riversdale.
