Diane Melanie Peck, age 68 of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Stratford General Hospital on November 1, 2018 Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Wilson (Red)& Gladys Dale. Best friend and True love to Ken Peck of 47 years. Loving mother of Lisa Peck, Lori (Don) Scott and Matt (Kati) Peck. Proud and loving grandmother of Shayne, Scott, Alicia, Danny, Hailey, Tyler and Josh. Diane is survived by her siblings; Wayne Dale, Ron (Diane) Dale, Paul (Lorraine) Dale, Mike (Sandie) Dale and sister-in-law Joan Peck along with many nieces and nephews. Diane will be fondly remembered by her special friends Jean Herman and Dolly Burdett. Diane worked at International Artcraft for 25 years before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, vacationing at the family cottage in Muskoka, gardening in her yard, coffee with friends and family, listening to music, and a good movie. Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Albert and Violet Peck and her brother-in-law Jim Peck. Family and friends may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to LHSC- Sickids PMDU Oncology or Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice Foundation through the funeral home. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
