ROBERTS, Derrick Charles
Age 55, of Beaver Bank. It is with a heavy heart we announce the death of a loving husband and father on June 24, 2018. He was the son of Marie Lena Roberts (Blinn) and the late Harvey Wallace Roberts. When he was able, Derrick was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with the boys, hanging out in the garage. While Derrick spent the last few years at home he enjoyed watching old movies and spending time with his dog Rylee. He dedicated his entire life to the comfort of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathy Roberts (Murphy); loving children, sons, Justin, Jarred (Holly) and soon to be granddaughter; daughter, Alyssa (Jordan); brothers, Gary (Suzie), Dale (Tracey); sister, Nancy (Wade) Tattrie and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive on Monday, July 2 from 4-7 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, July 3 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by an interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment in Atlantic Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Derrick can be made to Bide Awhile or the SPCA by going to their website.
