Dennis Joseph Paul Schnurr
It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Schnurr announces his sudden passing, at his home in Drayton, on Sunday July 8 at the age of 63 years. Formerly of Kitchener, Dennis leaves behind his loving spouse and friend Cheryl. He is survived by his sons Craig (Katie), Cory, Ryan (Jay), their mother Ginny, and his grandchildren Chloe, Kale and Kieran. Stepfather to Jason Kreller (Tammy), Jeff Kreller (Tori) and Josh Kreller (Kelly). Poppa to Austin, Ethan, Connor, Jax, Isabelle and Evelyn. Predeceased by his parents George and Vera Schnurr and his brother Phillip. He will be missed by his best friend Les Rudrum, and his many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Dennis was proud of and cherished the relationships he had with his Canada Post friends, especially his Depot One group. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Friends of Algonquin Park in Dennis’s memory.
A gathering for loved ones will be held Saturday July 14th from 1-4 at Emmanuel United Church, 22 Bridgeport Road, Waterloo.
The Schnurr family will hold a celebration of life at a later date TBA.
