It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the unexpected death of Deidra Marie Iverson on December 20, 2018, at the age of 31. Deidra was born April 2, 1987 in Drumheller AB. She grew up in Carbon attending K-12 at the local Carbon School. After graduating high school, she ventured out of the small town on to the big city of Calgary. She spent some time at Mount Royal College and exploring different career interests. She was a caring and affectionate young lady who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Deidra was a beautiful poet and spent many hours writing, expressing her love, gratitude and life lessons. She loved music and was so often seen walking around plugged into headphones. Deidra was a constant learner and regularly had a book on her lap, always reaching to be the best that she could be.
Deidra leaves to grieve her Sister, Melissa (Daniel), Nephews, Keagan and Kyler Green; Grandmother Donna Morris along with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Deidra was predeceased by her parents, Garry and Linda Iverson of Carbon; Grandfather David Morris and Grandparents Dorthy and Vic Elliot.
We would like to invite family and friends to celebrate Deidra’s life on Friday, January 4, 2018 at 2pm at the Carbon Community Center. Following the Service relatives and friends are invited to enjoy a time of fellowship and light refreshments.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Deidra Marie Iverson December 20th 2018..
