David Charles Henry From (Sr.)
David will forever be remembered first and foremost for his enduring love for his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He had an incredible, demanding and positive work ethic, a love to keep busy, a love to work in his vegetable garden, a love for woodworking, a love for summer and winter cottage trips, and, a love for a rye and ginger or a cold one.
David was born May 28, 1938 in Kitchener Ontario. In 1959, he married and loved greatly his wife, Denise of 46 years. He and Denise raised their family in Kingston where David worked for 35 years at Dupont. David will be missed deeply by his sons David (Jr.), Michael, daughters-in-law, Karen and Wendy and grandchildren, Jonathan, Riley (his wife Kathryn), Rachel and Jennifer.
David passed away with his family by his side, Tuesday July 24, 2018, but his memory and positive bearing on the family will remain. At David’s request, there will be no service or visitation. If desired, donations in his name to Parkinson Canada, (1-800-565-3000) would be greatly appreciated.
