Dale Wentworth Cormack
Sadly, and suddenly, Dale was taken from us on November 13, 2018.
Dale was predeceased by his father Rennie Cormack, mother Lorna Watson, stepfather Bruce Watson, sister Lyn Cormack and spouse Kerry Beveridge; he is survived by spouse Halina Gajdul-Lasocka, brother Brent Cormack, Aunt Stella Murray, stepmother Kathleen Cormack, stepdaughter Rachel Adams, nieces Deanna Cormack and Kelly Hooper, nephews Jackson (Ashley) Cormack and Dan (Christine) Hooper, step-siblings Sandy, Kent and Bob Watson and many cousins and extended families.
Dale was born July 2, 1953 in Alberta; but spent most of his life in Port Alberni. He worked all his life in forestry, loved his years as a Driller/Blaster and missed it greatly after retiring due to health issues. He told many, many stories, fondly remembering everyone he worked with throughout his career and whom he thought of as family.
With his charismatic personality, wicked sense of humour and warmth, Dale crossed paths with people from all walks of life and became fast and lifelong friends with everyone he met.
He will be in our hearts forever.
The family would like to thank the First Responders, Doctors, Nurses and Staff at WCGH for their care.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 – from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Cherry Creek Hall, 3720 Moore Road, Port Alberni.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Dale Wentworth CORMACK July 2 1953 November 13 2018 (age 65)..
