During the early hours of Tuesday, December 18, 2018, Dale Burton Hanna, long-time resident of Drayton Valley passed away at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 71 years. Dale will forever be lovingly remembered by his wife of more than 50 years, Dianna; son, Murray (Gail); grandchildren, Matthew and Naomi; brother, Allison (Joanne); sister-in-law, Liz; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Whilhelmina Hanna, brothers, Garth and Neil and sister, Fran. Dianna would like to extend her heartfelt gratitude to all the medical staff that had a hand in Dale’s care throughout his illness. Those wishing to express their condolences to the Hanna family are invited to a Gathering of Family and Friends at Serenity Funeral Service, 5137 50 Avenue, Drayton Valley on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in Dale’s name may be made directly to S.T.A.R.S. or the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
