Obituary of Cynthia (Davis) Dunphy
Passed suddenly away on Thursday, October 11, 2018, Cynthia (Davis) Dunphy of Carbonear, age 47 years. Predeceased by grandparents: George and Margaret Pike and George and Elizabeth Davis; parents-in-law: Michael and Rose Dunphy. Leaving to mourn, husband: Paul ‘PJ’; three daughters: Nicole, Emily, and Sarah; parents: Rev. John and Muriel Davis, Victoria; one brother: Robert (Lynanne) Davis, Victoria; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law: Alice (Andy) Doyle, Marg (Ambrose) Slade, Judy (Kenny) Neil, Mike Dunphy, and Steve Dunphy (Paige Johnson); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and the staff and students of St. Francis School, Harbour Grace. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday and Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Atlantic Division Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 109 Ilsley Avenue, Unit 1, Dartmouth, NS, B3B 1S8.
