At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Cornelia Byker (nee Oosse) of Williamsburg, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Hendrik Byker. Loving mother of Anna Buter (Ralph) of Morrisburg, John of Iroquois, Bill (Cindy) of Brinston, Linda Raymond (Reuben) of Renfrew and Christine Walsh (Steve) of Williamsburg. Dear sister of Marina Wielemaker, Joppa Oosse, Cornelis Oosse (Riek) and Maria Oosse, all of the Netherlands. Dear mother-in-law of Larry Sloan of Pittston. Oma will be fondly remembered by 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughters Nancy Sloan and Cornelia Byker, her great-grandson Rhys Raymond, her sister Pieternella Fonteine, her brother Johannes Oosse and her granddaughter-in-law Kelly Buter. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Monday, April 9th at 11 a.m. Donations to Timothy Christian School would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
