Clinton Ray Winger
WINGER, Clinton Ray – Peacefully with family on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 100. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (January 2018) for over 72 years. Cherished father of Sandra Mater (Perry) and Brent Winger (late Elaine). Loving grandfather of Kimberley Villella (Frank), Stacey Warankie (Richard), Allison Cooper, Tina Pigeon (late Don) and Danny Winger (Denise). He will be sadly missed by his great grandchildren Jenn (Corey Freeman), Curt Warankie (Megan) and his great great grandchildren Laci and Jax Freeman. Predeceased by his ten brothers and sisters. Clinton served overseas during World War II with the 3rd Division, Lorne Scott: Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch# 4 and a long time member of the Winstonville Seniors Club. Clinton worked for 43 years at Atlas Steels retiring in 1982. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Monday, December 10th from 12:00 noon until the time of service in the Cudney Chapel at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the War Amps would be appreciated by the family.
