Obituary of Clarence Dorscht
Vern passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the age of 77.
Vern retired from SunLife and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Ditner) for 50 years. Loving Dad of Bruce (Elisete), Donna, and TerryLynn (Jason) Pilkey. Proud Grandpa of Cole and Jake Dorscht and Megan and Paige Pilkey. Son of the late Clarence L. Dorscht and Olga Thuroo, Vern is survived by his brothers and sisters Nelson (Noreen), Gordon, Ray, Dennis, Irene, Loreen, Evelyn (Frank) Ditner, and June Dorscht. Predeceased by brothers Alvin, Allen, and Lorne Dorscht.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Friday at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Rafal Toman as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Agatha RC Cemetery. Reception at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall.
