Christopher Skinner
With heavy hearts the family of the late Christopher Rodney Skinner mourns his passing at Nippard’s Harbour on August 13th,2018. Born on march 5th, 1991 in Grand Falls-Windsor, Christopher was the only son of Edith and Rodney Skinner. Christopher had a great love for the outdoors such as camping , hunting, fishing, skidooing and quading with family and friends. On December 20th , 2014 God blessed him with his daughter Amyah, she was his world. This year he married Meagan Bridger, she has two beautiful daughters that Christopher loved and treated has his own, he was an amazing dad. Christopher worked in Alberta for a few years, commuting back and forth to be with his family. He was a hard worker and took pride in everything he did.
As anyone that knows Christopher knew that he was a comedian, always pulling pranks on people and telling jokes. As a teenager he was always ready , willing and able to help out his family and friends if ever needed. Christopher’s infectious smile , laughter and wonderful sence of humor will always be remembered and forever missed by all his family, Aunts, Uncles and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by Grandparents Bert and Myrtle lee; George and Mary Skinner, Aunts and Uncles. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, August 17 th 2018, from the St. Bartholomew’s Anglican church, Hr. Breton at 2pm with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hr. Breton. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Spencer’s Funeral Home.

Sympathies message

  1. I am so sorry for your lose. I didn’t know Chris as well as my fellow mates did . What I knew of him was that the first time I met him I went up to the site where he was working, and Chris had welcome me like I knew him for years. He was more then happy to pass on info and tricks of the trade. As he was showing me the ropes he had the smile of cat that just got in to something he wasn’t suppose to. Lol. He had me laughing and smiling from his high intensity And great sense of humor. You will be missed.
