Schubert, Christopher Allan – 41, Fenwick and formerly of Oxford, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in Moncton. Born in Springhill, he was a son of Curtis (Doreen) Schubert the late Lavona Dorothy Schubert. Chris worked at Oxford Frozen Foods for many years as a forklift driver and began working there as a teenager with summer employment. He most recently enjoyed doing home renovations with Lisa on their home in Fenwick. In his earlier years he enjoyed four-wheeling and being with friends and family. The most important thing in Chris’ life was the love of family, especially his daughter Ceirra. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Boss; daughter, Ceirra Schubert; stepson, Parker Finley; stepbrother, William Chapman; stepsisters, Chrissy LeBlanc; Tara LeBlanc; Natasha LeBlanc; grandfather, Charlie Shubert. Also survived by family and friends that supported Chris though his illness including his uncle, Darrell (Sherrie) Schubert; aunts, Sheryl (Terry) Cormier and Sandra Schubert; very close first cousins, Jason (Sarah) Noseworthy and Michael (Sarah) McClary; father and mother in law Roger and Betty Boss; Anne Boss and Theresa “Bossy” Boss. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by grandparents, Melvin and Elaine Skidmore, Jean Schubert. A time to celebrate Chris’ life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 30 in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, 5075 Main Street, Oxford (902-447-2930).
