Obituary for
Charlotte Anne Savage (Zavitz)
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond (Ray) Savage (1997) , loving mother of Jennifer (Jenny) Lynn Dobson, (Dan Semeniuk), and Alicia Rae Savage (Tyler Giesel) both of Ottawa. She grew up in Port Credit, the eldest child of Deane and Doreen Zavitz (both deceased) and sister to Wendy McCauley. Loved by aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws, and many extended family members.
Charlotte will be remembered for her kindness, patience, love and generosity. Charlotte was a dedicated nurse, working at CHEO in Ottawa for 30 years. We would like to thank the medical staff at the Ottawa Hospital and May Court Hospice for their excellent care and kindness during this difficult time.
At Charlotte’s request there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
