It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Curtis at Toronto General Hospital on May 19, 2018 in her 72nd year. Devoted mother of the late Curtis Perry and his wife Rebecca; Benjamin and Gabriella Perry; and Caetie and Shawn Anticknap. She will be deeply missed, especially by her grandchildren Andrew, Stuart, Benny, Jake, Noah Lazar and Olive. Catherine is survived by her sisters Nancy Mellor, and Margaret and Mario Pavia and her sister-in-law Marie Curtis. She is the loving daughter of the late Mary and William Curtis. Catherine is pre-deceased by her sister Mary Ann Cutis, her brother William “Bill” Curtis and her brother-in-law Douglas Mellor. Cherished by her many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk St, Guelph, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception following in the church hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital, ALS Society of Canada or Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.
