Caroline Carrie Edith Payne (August 11 1938 February 17 2018)

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Caroline (Carrie) Payne announce her passing at her residence on Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her son Cory Payne of Stephenville, two daughters: Kimberley Payne in Edmonton, AB, Judy Smith in Charlottetown, P.E.I., five brothers: George ( Elizabeth) Ellsworth of Ontario, Clarence (Vickie) Ellsworth of Ontario, Woodrow (Jesse) Ellsworth of Corner Brook, Michael ( Audrey) Ellsworth of Rocky Harbour, Curling (Anna) Ellsworth of Ontario, five sisters: Lorraine (Scott) Wight of Rocky Harbour, Marie Bennett of St. Paul’s, Justine (Joseph) Webber of Corner Brook, Pauline (Kenneth) Stevenson of Rocky Harbour, Myra (Maris) Freimanis of Nova Scotia, five grandchildren: Adam, Shyanne, Denika, Amy, Katherine, five great grandchildren: Dylan, Deaven, Dayson, Jazmin, Brinley, and a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward, grandparents George and Francis Major, mother Evelyn (John) Ellsworth, brothers Wilson and Donald Ellsworth , sister Mariam Ellsworth, brother- in- law Sidney Bennett. Funeral service for Carrie and her late husband, Edward, who predeceased her in 2015, will take place on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church at 2 pm followed by inurnment at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
