Obituary of Carole Hamm
With great sadness we announce the passing of Carole Genevieve Hamm, 80 of Lequille, Annapolis Royal, who passed away on August 20, 2018 in Valley Regional Hospital. Carole was born in Saint John, NB and was the daughter of the late Carl and Jenney Stevens.
Carole, known as “Honey” by her family and many friends, was loved and known by many for the years she worked as cashier at the Annapolis Royal I.G.A. She had a great love for people, her Valley Bull dogs and BINGO.
Carole is survived by her husband of 61 years, Francis “Sonny” Hamm; sons Philip (Kathy), Billy (Angie); daughter Sherry (Brad); grandchildren Jamie, Mike, Bobby, Aaron and Gavin; step-grandchildren Amanda, Alecia and Kyle; great-grandchildren Anita, Kaitlin, Justin, Cole, Alyssa and Jace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday August 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Digby County Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Dementia Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
