Lovingly Remembered
Leona Dyer, passed away in Calgary on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 78 years.
She will be dearly missed by her children Randy Dyer and Kara Dyer both of Calgary. She will also be remembered by her sisters Mary Hergenhein and Thelma (Bob) Welin; brothers Charles (Helen) Layher and Dale Layher and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents and two brothers. Leona was a very creative lady who always loved learning. After her retirement from the Calgary Fire Department as Paymaster, she bloomed into an amazing artist; with one of her paintings being displayed in City Hall. She also loved her crafts, gardening and spending time with her kids and little doggie.
A Celebration of Leona’s Life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, (1605 – 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. To express condolences, please visit: www.mountainviewmemorial.ca.
