March 6, 1958 – December 18, 2018
Carl Zaytsoff, age 60, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home in Cranbrook, BC on December 18, 2018. He was born on March 6th, 1958 in Trail, BC. Carl grew up in Gibson Creek on the family farm and graduated from Stanley Humphries in 1970. He married Lorraine Popoff and lived in Winlaw for many years. He went on to live in Nova Scotia with his sister Shirley for a year before moving to Cranbrook in 2006, where he remained for the rest of his life. Carl worked at the Superstore as a receiver, unloading the products that came in.
Carl was always helping others when he could. He always had a smile on his face and he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Carl was loved by many and will be dearly missed by his sisters Larissa Cormier of Fort Fraser, Shirley Zaytsoff of Toronto and Marilyn Zaytsoff of Cranbrook, his nieces and nephews Ben, Adam and Chelsea Euerby and Elizabeth Hoodicoff. Carl was predeceased by his mother Polly (nee Reibin) Zaytsoff in 1995 and his father Carl Zaytsoff Sr. in 2013.
A celebration of life will be held in 2019.
