Cecil Alexander Cameron, of Durham and formerly of Holstein, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Joyce (nee Parkinson). Loving father of Alexander “Sandy” Cameron and his wife Alice of Pipestone, Manitoba, Donald Cameron of Holstein, and Benjamin Cameron and his wife Bonnie of Durham. Cherished grandfather of Heather Cameron, Thomas Cameron and his wife Angela, and Christine and her husband Dave Clark. Great-grandfather of Logan, Lila, Mason and Samantha. Dear brother of Elsie Machan of Belleville. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Lillian Cameron, his grandson Ian Cameron and his sister Grace McClaren. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, June 1st from 6 – 8 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at Johnson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
