Byron Andrew Chamberlain 1938-2018
Byron Chamberlain, of Miramichi, passed away on Monday, April 30th, 2018 at the Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton at the age of 79. Born in Newcastle, NB, Byron was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Cormier) Chamberlain. Byron lived and worked at CN in Toronto for many years, and did various jobs in Miramichi. Byron is survived by two sisters: Diane Jones of Toronto, ON and Barbara Richardson (Leslie) of Peterborough, ON; one brother: Donald of Victoria, BC as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Byron is predeceased his parents; two brothers: John and Barry; infant sister: Helen; step sisters: Pat and Betty, as well as step brothers: Reggie, Cletus, Gerald and Kenny. Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi on Thursday, May 3rd from noon until 1:45 PM.Funeral service will follow on Thursday at the Bell’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Father Antonio Reyes officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, in Byron’s memory, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
