In Loving Memory
Boyd Conrad Gedlaman, beloved husband of the late Larene (Ockey) Gedlaman passed away at the Miller Crossing Care Centre in Edmonton on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the age of 91 years.
He was the loving father of Arlen Gedlaman, Corrine Young, Nancy Guenther, and Vard Gedlaman (deceased). He will also be missed by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is now joined with his beloved wife Larene, his parents Forest and Lucy, his sister Theola and his son Vard. He was predeceased from two of his brothers Don and Wayne.
He supported his family as a boiler operator at the sawmill in Lumby BC and Salmon Arm BC and for a short time he worked on a farm in Alberta. Boyd loved to build! He built furniture, houses, and most anything that required wood, but his greatest love was gardening. He was always outside doing something. He also loved camping and fishing (mom would always get one and bigger than his). He loved to play with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
