Blair Allister Wadden
Surrounded by his loving family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allister Wadden (60) on Sunday December 9th at the QEII Hospital, Halifax after a short illness. Born in Sydney, October 27,1958. He was the son of the late David Wadden and Mable Wadden of Catalone. Allister was a graduate of Riverview High School and Nova Scotia Teachers College. He settled in Port Royal. Allister was a high school teacher with Annapolis West Education Centre for 30 years.

He was an exemplary educator and unionist, an active member of NSTU who worked tirelessly for his school, teachers and the students of Nova Scotia.
He was well known by all who knew him, for his humour and wit especially shown when he attended the family annual wing off held down at the bungalow in Catalone.
