1922-2018
ST-IGNACE, NB – Bertha Thebeau 95, of St-Ignace,
passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born in St-Ignace, she was the
daughter of the late Napoleon Daigle and late Lydie (Babin)
Daigle. Before retiring, Bertha was a school
teacher.
Bertha will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Rita
Richard (late Paul) of Bouctouche, Simonne Daigle (France) of Moncton,
Pierette Hebert (Donat) of Fredericton, Marie-Paul Hebert
(Roméo) of Laketon, Anne Russell (Al) of Fredericton; five
sons, Adelard Thebeau (Maria), Eric Thebeau (Therese), Elie Thebeau
(Gisele) all of St-Ignace, Richard Thebeau (Diane), Bernard Thebeau
(Della) both of St. Louis; twenty-five grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.
She is also survived by four sisters, Marianne Johnson (late
Eric) of St-Ignace, Emily Ouellette (Ronald) of Quebec, Louisa Steele
(late Jim) of Moncton, Elmonde Richard (Odilon) of St-Ignace; two
brothers, Livain Daigle of MASS, Arthur Daigle (Aldéa) of
St. Louis and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Pierre Thebeau; one daughter, Hélène; one
sister, Roseline and six brothers, Edouard, Léopold, Ovila,
Sylvain, Eloi and Gerald.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Thursday at
9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 am, St-Ignace de Loyola Roman
Catholic Church, St-Ignace. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
