(nee Dawson)
April 11, 1928 – December 30, 2017
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and friend Merle Pringle on December 30th, at the age of 89 years.
Born and raised in Regina Saskatchewan, where she graduated as a Registered Nurse at the Regina General Hospital in 1949. Merle married her best life friend Cam Pringle in 1950 and moved to Edmonton in 1953 where they raised their family of four children.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Wendy Huseman, Bob (Lynda), Jim (Neryleta), and Margaret, 10 Grandchildren, and 16 Great Grandchildren, and a surviving sister Joan Seed, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Merle was predeceased by her parents Charlotte and Walter Dawson, her husband Campbell Pringle in 1984, and sisters Leah Staple, Mary Lowe, Loretta Wight, and son in law Malvern Huseman.
Burial has taken place. A celebration of Life will take place on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Clareview Bible Church 3629-145 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merle’s memory to Alberta Cancer Foundation.
