SACCO, Battista ‘Bob’ – On Friday September 21, 2018 at the age of 76, after a sudden and violent attack by cancer we surrounded our dad, grandpa, brother, father-in-law, brother-in-law and loving husband at Douglas Memorial Hospital as the storm waters calmed to a ripple and his soul returned to heaven and into the waiting arms of his mom and dad. He was the cherished son of the late Pacifico and Giovanna, beloved husband of Marie, loving father of Cathy, Richard and Jennifer (Mark) Cicchino, amazing grandpa of Julianna, Madalynn & Emily Cicchino, dear brother of Antoinette (Frank) Vescio, Rose (the late Rocco) Goffredo, Mary (Gary) Martin, Teresa (Cliff) ton and Linda (the late Bill) Woods, son-in-law of the late Catherine and Leo Senese, brother-in-law of the late Jean Solose, Judy (John) Beauparlant and Tom (Darlene) Senese. Dear nephew of Raffaela (the late Bruno) Villella, Marianna (the late Antonio) Villella, Francesco (the late Santa) and Adelina (the late Michele) Stranges. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Battista is also predeceased by his siblings Antonio and Rosa, Uncle Fedele Sacco and wife Giovanna, Uncle Antonio Sacco and wife Giovanna, Aunt Cristina Stranges and husband Bruno and Uncle Luigi Villella and his wife Lucia. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME , 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Monday from 6 to 9 pm and Tuesday 1 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated Monday at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church on Wednesday at 10 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Battista may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation towards either Walker Family Cancer Centre or the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Palliative Care, and would be appreciated by his family.
